Our HistoryOur non-profit organization as a Reserve Trust, Eramboo World Studies Centre Pty Ltd was formed in 2006. Eramboo has maintained a continuous tradition as an alternative educational facility for over fifty years. Situated adjacent to Ku-ring-gai National Park, its three & a half acres promises a large space for arts based activities. When Eramboo was part of the International School Campus, the emphasis of study situated Australia within South East Asia broadening the students’ Eurocentric understanding of cultural perspective in the seventies & was ahead of its time. Its current form as an art teaching facility developed from 1994. The centre is situated on land owned by the Department of Lands & in December 2005, after the submission of a Plan of Management the status altered from an annual licence agreement to a Reserve Trust functioning as an artist centre indefinitely.
