Born in Okdal, Norway, Eva has lived worked & studied in Norway, Poland, USA & is now currently living in Australia. She expresses her love of people, places, life experiences & history through her work.
Each canvas is a different place & a map of her experience using layers, words, colours & texture.
Eva’s technique is a unique combination of paint, collage, photographs, transfers, printmaking, drawing, abstract, words, shapes, colours, sewing & stitch. Her work is about experience & the mapping of that experience, bringing a map from one territory & overlaying one upon another, this is the process of how Eva’s work evolves.
