Imogen Cranna came to creating hybrid-art performance installations through her passion for music and dance.

 

During her graduating year at the New Zealand School of Dance she was exposed to the myriad of interactions that arise between dance and the multimedia program, Isadora.

Imogen has discovered that the most fascinating projected imagery is often found by chance and her work generates contrasting viewpoints depending on how the elements of projection, dance and music align. Inspired by weaving the foundations of her artistic practice together, she creates unique installations that can be appreciated from any perspective.
