Sylvie Langbein
Painter
Sylvie Langbein was born in France and lived in seven different countries where she developed her taste for movement and diversity.
She practiced various art forms: from dance and music (her first love) she then moved to textile art, painting in different media (watercolour, oils and acrylics), ceramics and sculpture and worked as an art and craft facilitator with different community organisations.
A self-taught artist in the first place, she enjoyed improving her techniques by studying at different venues in Singapore and Australia . She is working on a new series of paintings inspired by her past travelling experiences and her life in Australia.
