“The bush is an edge. An uncontrolled wilderness. At the edge of the bush is Eramboo, a
little shed in and around which art is made. While Australian sounds assault,
artists escape from a manufactured world.
Only in this space can originality be rediscovered.” Susan Milne,
Artistic Co-Director
Eramboo is an artists' space, with an exhibition and residency programme, located on 3.5 acres of bushland adjacent to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park at Terrey Hills, 45 minutes from Sydney's city centre. Its location on the
edge of the bush presents artists, emerging artists and students with a unique
opportunity to create, learn and exhibit in an isolated, yet sensually crowded
setting.
Eramboo’s programmes include; residencies, classes,
masterclasses, cross-disciplinary presentations, lectures and spontaneous
social events encouraging an intermingling of artists with communities.
Eramboo is a non-profit organisation and Eramboo World Studies Centre is the Reserve Trust Manager for the Crown Land upon which it sits.
